Today was the first day where our big group split into our three little groups. Group 1, lead by Scott and Rachel did a VBS and went to the drop in centre in downtown Calgary where the served food to the homeless people. Group 2, lead by Seth and Jeremy, went to the Mustard Seed (aka "The Seed) and worked in a soup kitchen where they also served homeless people. Following that, they cleaned a house that was previously owned by a drug dealer, but had been long since abandoned. Group 3, lead by Al and Alana, went to the Calgary food bank in the morning to sort through food. It just so happened that we came on the day where a news crew came to film the organization in celebration of their 30th anniversary. Apparently we'll be on Calgary news!.. a year from now. Later headed over to the Calgary Pregnancy Organization where we filled 2000+ baby bottles with a slip of paper with information about the organization, which was done as a fundraiser for the organization. Last year they raised $130,000.

All in all, today has been another great day, we've learned a lot, and our journey has only just begun. Stay tuned!
