·         The Rock Fundraiser Barbeque at Pilot Mound park (by swimming pool) from noon till 2:00 p.m. on August 11^th.  By donation.

·         Vacation Bible School will be held at Cornerstone from August 20-22, 9:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.  The theme is 'Growing in friendship with Jesus'.  Activities are for preschool (age 3 to those not completed kindergarten) and elementary (those completed kindergarten to Grade 5) children.  A snack will be served mid-morning.  For more information, talk to Judi Heide.  Please pray for the children and volunteers who will be involved.  

·         WANTED:  empty, clean plastic jars with lids (for example, 1 kg. size peanut butter jars) for craft project at Vacation Bible School at Cornerstone.  40 jars are needed.  Please put jars in a box in the kitchen labelled 'Jars for VBS".  Thanks for your help. 

·         Are you interested in helping with Sunday School this fall?  We need part time/team teachers and helpers.  If you would like to help train the next generation please contact Karen Friesen.

·         Anyone missing a light green mountain bike talk to Pastor Dave or John Neufeld.

·         Are you in interested in helping with Vacation Bible School at Cornerstone, Aug. 20-22? Volunteers are needed for crafts, Bible teaching, games, registration and snacks.  Please speak to Judi Heide if you want to be involved.

·         Thank you to Esther & Cornie Krahn and John Neufeld for sprucing up our church's flower beds and mowing the lawn.  Assistance by others in these tasks is welcomed.

·         Pastoral Vacations: Pastor Dave & Agatha & family are leaving for a two week vacation to Ontario starting tomorrow, and Pastor Scott is taking a week of vacation time plus a week away speaking at camp.  Any pastoral concerns can be given to Leo Martens (873-2585) or one of the other elders.

·         Windy Bay Fundraiser:  fundraiser at Cornerstone Ministries to support Hardi and Betti Kubassek (Open Doors Foundation)-July 7^th 2013 (tonight) at 7pm. No admission - free-will offering

      Choir,-Acadia Youth choir, -Gospel Band.
