·         Please note there will be no Sunday School Jan 6.  Classes will resume on Jan 13.

 ·         Elder nominations - We are seeking the Lord for 3 elders

                   4 year term (Vern Reimer)

                   3 year term (unfilled position)

                   1 year term (Derek Friesen - has resigned)

      Please discern and pray for our church leadership. Nomination forms  

      are at the back of the church.  Nominations open today and close    

      Feb. 5/13. Return the nomination forms to John Smith or David   

      Heide.

 

·         Begin the New Year with prayer: Starting on Wed January 9

            @ 7 pm, we want to pray to our Lord for 24 hours. Everyone is     

             encouraged to sign up to pray for 1/2 hour slots (or longer),

              concluding with a congregational prayer meeting Thurs evening

             January 10. Please talk to Pastor Dave if you want to arrange a

             particular prayer station, or offer ideas for prayer or worship times.

 

·         Phil Wagler is coming Feb 9-10: The author of Kingdom Culture (that Pastor Dave has been  
        teaching from) is coming to Cornerstone to speak and teach. You don't want to miss that   
        weekend.

- Youth Night. Tuesday, January 8. 7:30-10:00 at the Church

Jr. youth
- Youth Night. Wednesday, January 9. 7:00-9:00 at the Church
- Jr. Youth Retreat. Saturday, January 19 - Sunday, January 20.

 

·         Christmas Eve service: Everyone is invited to our special Christmas Eve service on December 24 @ 7 pm. The service will include singing, a special drama presentation by Kids Klub, and a variety of special music.

 

·         Please note there will be no Sunday School on Dec 30 and Jan 6.  Classes will resume on Jan 13.

            Pembina Valley Bible Camp is looking for individuals, families, or couples to cook for rental 

              groups/campers. We require you be  passionate about serving God, serving others, and

              Food! We  currently have a very faithful group of volunteers cooks but are always looking

             to  give others the same opportunity to be blessed and be a blessing at PVBC.

 

·         Mission Trip Fundraiser: Order canvas prints of beautiful pictures from Rachel Bergen at church the next few Sundays. Rachel will be taking orders for various sized prints of the picture of your choice. Check it out at exploringcreationphoto.blogspot.ca

Christmas has come early at the church library, with many new books and DVD's for everyone of all ages. They are on display on tables in the gym for today only, and then they will be featured on the shelves in the library over the next couple months. You will also find a list of the book and DVD titles in your mailboxes so that you will know what is new and where to find them. •Carol Sing: Everyone is invited to come to an informal fellowship time of singing and snacking at church tonight @7 pm. Bring your choices for your favourite Christmas carols, and bring some Christmas goodies to share (drinks will be provided), and let's help each other get into the true spirit of Christmas!

Thank you also to Pastor Scott and the youth for serving us at the tables.
