The Kid’s Klub room has been converted to a nursery for parents of small children, during the worship service.  The room is equipped with a TV with a live stream of the service

 

Wedding of Jody Corina Unrau and Chris Peters will be on the Cornerstone lawn this afternoon at 4 pm, and their reception in the gym afterwards.

 

Miscellaneous bridal shower for Rachel Bergen will be held on Sunday, June 9^th @ 7:00 p.m.  @ the church.  Everyone welcome.

 

Men's Golf Day on June 16^th from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. at Pilot Mound Golf Course.  Breakfast will be served at the church after the game.  Signup sheet at the back of the church.  Sign up as singles, pairs, or 4-some.

 

Camp brochures are available at the back of the church with information for children and youth interested in summer program opportunities.  Anyone working at camp as staff can apply for financial support and get the form from Steve Konrad.  The Missions committee encourages you to get involved at one of the local Bible camps.

 

Library - check out all the new DVD's in the family section of the library.  There are 10 new movies that your family might enjoy on a rainy evening.  There are also 8 new Cherub Wings DVD's for the young kids.  Please return movies after 2 weeks so that everyone gets a chance to view them, thanks."

 

The Friesen family thanks God for the safe arrival of Madelyn Divonne born to Doug and Janelle Reimer on May 20th weighing 7 1/2 lbs.  Ezra and Ashton are pleased with their new sister.

 FELLOWSHIP LUNCH on Sunday, May 26^th:  Everybody please bring salads, desserts, and drinks.  Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided.  As we will likely have many visitors due to its being Baby Dedication Sunday, please make sure you bring extra.  Group 5 (Dorothy’s group) is in charge.

Congratulations to Josh & Rebecca Pauls on the birth of their
baby boy, Brendan Cole, 9lbs. 3oz. & 22 inches long.  Brendan was

 A big thank you to Rob Harms for many years of faithful service and leadership with the sound desk and with technical assistance for our church services!  As Rob steps down from this leadership role, let's affirm him for years of depending on his technical assistance.

 

Men’s Floor Hockey is done. Thanks to all the guys who showed up through the winter.

 

 Youth event on May 11^th at the Altona Millennium Exhibition Centre.  “It’s About Time” is the Soul’d event that Altona puts on in a BIG way once every year.  You don’t want to miss it!  Doors open at 8:30 am, starts at 9:30am and finishes at approx 9:00pm.  Cost is $35 (includes tax); groups of 8 or more are $32.  Tickets can be purchased online at sould.ca or buy them at the door.  There is supervision throughout the entire event and lunch and supper will be available (both available for under $5) or bring your own.  For teens grades 7 – 12.  Talk to Doug & Nancy for a free ride to the event, and bring a friend.  The day includes a great youth speaker, 4 bands, a praise & worship band and dance team, videos, skits, an indoor inflatable park and a huge dodge ball tournament.
