 There will be a Bridal shower for Corina (Jodi) Unrau, bride elect of Chris Peters on Thursday, May 16th, @ 7:00 p.m. @ Cornerstone Ministries Church.  They are registered with Pampered Chef @ Smith’s Flowers and at Sears.  Everyone is welcome.
 
 A miscellaneous bridal shower will be held for Julia Smith on Saturday, May 25th @ 2:00 p.m.  @ Cornerstone. Julia is registered with Pampered Chef @ Smith’s Flowers & Home Outfitters.  Everyone is welcome.
 
 A big thank you to Denis Choquette & Harv Bergen and the folks at PhiBer for all the effort and cold mornings they put into clearing the snow from the church yard this past winter! We really appreciated it!
 
 A big thank you to Rob Harms for many years of faithful service and leadership with the sound desk and with technical assistance for our church services!  As Rob steps down from this leadership role, let's affirm him for years of depending on his technical assistance.
 
Men’s Floor Hockey is done. Thanks to all the guys who showed up through the winter.
 
 Youth event on May 11th at the Altona Millennium Exhibition Centre.  “It’s About Time” is the Soul’d event that Altona puts on in a BIG way once every year.  You don’t want to miss it!  Doors open at 8:30 am, starts at 9:30am and finishes at approx 9:00pm.  Cost is $35 (includes tax); groups of 8 or more are $32.  Tickets can be purchased online at sould.ca or buy them at the door.  There is supervision throughout the entire event and lunch and supper will be available (both available for under $5) or bring your own.  For teens grades 7 – 12.  Talk to Doug & Nancy for a free ride to the event, and bring a friend.  The day includes a great youth speaker, 4 bands, a praise & worship band and dance team, videos, skits, an indoor inflatable park and a huge dodge ball tournament.
