Calgary Missions Day #2

Good evening everyone, so today was a very interesting day.  We managed to get through the day with out any accidents!  We spent the day working at the YWAM base at Turner Valley where Nathen Wall works.  He assigned us the task of clearing a walking path through the bush.  We worked like crazy to in hopes of getting a good start on the trail.  Nathen mentioned that if we would get half of it done that would be a huge accomplishment.  But we worked extra hard and somehow managed to get the whole trail completed.  I haven't seen 23 people work together so hard ever.  With all the chainsaws and machetes that were cutting it was a miracle in itself that no one got hurt.
After we left YWAM we headed into Calgary for the first time.  We arrived at housing for the week called the Jesus Loves You Society.  We were pleasantly surprised to fine that it is a beautiful building in downtown Calgary.  Where my bed is located I can see the Calgary tower out of one window and see prostitutes getting picked up out of the other.  We met Phil Reimer our host and he gave us a quick run down of the week which looks to be pretty crazy.  So we are all pretty tired and are hoping to get a good sleep tonight.

Have a good night everyone back home!
