* Membership class is being planned for Sunday, Feb. 7th at 9:30 am. Anyone interested in becoming a member, talk to Pastor Peter.
* Valentines’ Dessert Night – Sunday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m. featuring "Our Life" with Mark & Jenna Moir. Our Life is a unique look at love and marriage, from the perspective of a newly engaged couple. From the wedding, through jobs, fights, babies, illness and old age, this play is a look ahead at their life, as they imagine it might unfold. Our Life will make you laugh…it may make you cry…and it promises to keep you thoroughly entertained. Originally written in 2007 as a wedding fundraiser, Our Life stars Marc and Jenna Moir as themselves, and is a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
* Beth Moore “So Long, Insecurity” Simulcast – April 24. Pre-Simulcast Event on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone to prepare our hearts. To purchase a book, please sign up on the sheet provided.
Annual Meeting - March 1, 2010
* Nominations for elder board – Derek Friesen and David Heide’s terms on the elder board are up. Both Derek and David are eligible for re-election. Nomination Forms are available on the back table. Anyone who is a member at Cornerstone may submit a nomination. The person who is nominated for the position of elder must have been a member at Cornerstone for at least 2 years. Nominations should be handed to Leo Martens or Vern Reimer by Jan. 31/10.
