* Ladies – Retreat is coming!! Jan. 30 – Feb. 1 at Heartland in Winkler. If you are able to donate a door prize talk to Cindy Reimer.
* Mediterranean Supper – Fundraiser for Oak Valley – Jan. 31st at 6:30 p.m. at the Manitou Opera House. Cost is $16. Tickets available at Mueller’s Hardware in Manitou or by calling 242-3160. Volunteers needed for serving. Contact Janice Unrau at 875-4703.

* Ladies’ Bible Study – A study on Esther – Wednesday, January 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the church. If you miss a session the DVD will be in Helen Wall’s mailbox. If you are taking it out, please return it promptly so it is available for others.
* Men’s Bible Study – Monday, Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
* Love & Respect – Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 7:00 at Peter & Marian’s.
* Young Adults – Thursday, January 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Annual Meeting - 2009
* Tentative Date for Annual Meeting – Monday, February 23, 2009
* Ministry Reports – the chair-person of every committee should have a report for the annual meeting handed in to Vern Reimer by Jan 25.
* Budget – Attention, Ministry Leaders: Budget proposals should be handed in to Leo or Jim by January 25th.
* Elder Nominations: Vern Reimer’s term on the Elder Board will expire. He is eligible for re-election. Please fill out the nomination form and give it to John Smith or Leo Martens (members only). Elders must be members of Cornerstone for two years. Deadline for nominations is January 18th.

Youth Announcements
SR. Youth
* Youth Bible Study Night – Tuesday, January 13th at the church.
* Youth Tobogganing – Sunday, Jan. 25th. Meet at La Riviere hill at 3:00 p.m. Guys bring drinks; girls bring soup. Ending shortly after supper
* Sr. Youth Retreat – February 6-8 at Rock Lake CEFC. Sign up in the Youth Room. Come down for a fun-filled weekend with tobogganing, hot-tubbing, late night games and guest speaker John Rempel. The cost is $40. Remember bathing suits, Bibles and warm outdoor wear.
* Missions Trip! Hand in your applications to Andy by January 23rd. If you need an application form there’s extras in the Youth Room.
JR. Youth
* FUEL Night – Wednesday, January 21 from 7:00-9:00 at the church.
* Jr. Youth Retreat – January 17-18. Sign up at school or in the youth room. Drop off at church at 2:00 p.m. at church to go to Rock Lake CEFC. Bring bathing suits, Bibles and outdoor wear. The cost is $20. Will be back in time for church on Sunday
