* Evening Service – Sunday Nov. 30th at 7:00 p.m. This will be a service where we will worship the Lord, humble ourselves before Him and seek His face together confident that the two things the Lord cannot resist when He sees them in His people are humility and hunger. II Chron. 7:14 “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Come prepared to share Scriptures that have given you hope as you waited for God’s breakthroughs in your life.

* Ladies’ Retreat – Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2009. Brochures available at the back. Registration deadline: December 7th, 2008.
* Cornerstone Christmas Banquet – Saturday, December 6 at 6:00 p.m. Feature: “The Christmas Post” – A Christmas musical by the SBC Drama Team.
- Sign-up sheets for food items are at the back. (Please sign up to bring food even if you are intending to come to the banquet.)
- Sign up on the sheet provided at the back for yourself and the guests you are bringing so the food committee knows how many people to prepare for.

Youth Announcements
SR. Youth
* Tuesday, November 18 – Anyone in Gr. 9-12 come down for a night of worship, teaching, and some amazing fellowship/games you will only experience at Cornerstone Youth from 7:30-10:00. Bring your Bibles.
* Small Group Night – Tuesday, November 25th. Talk to your small group leader.
* Town-Wide Monopoly – November 27 at 7:30. Come to the church for a night of monopoly and some snacks/hangout time afterward. If you’ve never played town-wide monopoly, you’re going to want to try this out. A really good event to invite your friends!
* Youth Christmas Banquet – Tuesday, December 18. Details to follow.
JR. Youth
* FUEL Night – Anyone in Gr. 7-9 come down to the church on November 19th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for a night of games, snack, and FUEL (food for the soul). Invite your friends!
* Smugglers run! Meet at the church at 7:34 on Saturday, November 29th. Invite your friends to one of the funnest night games you will ever play. Make sure to dress warm for the conditions.
* Junior youth Christmas party – December 14 after church. Going swimming at Steinbach. Details to follow.
