College and Career
All those who have recently graduated from high school (ages 18-22) are welcome to come to John and Lorna Neufeld’s on Friday, October 5 at 7:30. We will be having a fire, food and a Bible study.

•Please check the back table for lost and found items by Oct. 14. Any items not picked up will be donated to MCC.
•Vegetables to donate - If you have vegetables like potatoes or carrots from your garden to donate to inner-city ministries, please talk to David or Judi Heide to arrange collection. Vegetables can be brought to Cornie & Esther Krahn’s place this week.
•A photo of our congregation has been requested by the church in Samara whose building project we supported financially so everyone is asked to go outside right after today's service for this photo. Please go to the hill northwest of the church building.
•The "Who Switched off My Brain" study will be offered this fall. Sign-up sheet at the back on the table and for more information go to www.drleaf.com. This study teaches us how our thoughts are formed and how we can take each one captive, and how our thoughts affect our health. Our brains are created to be able to change and we are never too old!! Library Corner:
Good news - the biography section in the library has not gone missing, it has just moved to the other side of the room.
Also, there are many DVD Bible studies that are available for anyone to use, so check them out. You can find them on the top shelf. They cover a variety of topics, everything from relationships to money management. If you are not able to commit to a group Bible study, it may work well for you to go through the material on your own. There are additional work books for purchase on the shelves, and further info is posted in the library. Help yourself.
And if you have a specific book that you would like to see in the library, please let me know and I will purchase them in the next couple of weeks. Leave a note in my mailbox or call me with the book title and author. Thanks, Nancy
