• Prayer Meeting every Sunday morning @ 8:30 a.m. in the meeting room.

• Men’s Bible Study – Tuesdays @ 7:30 p.m. at the church. Everyone welcome.
•  Ladies Bible Study –Tuesday at 1 and Thursday at 7pm. The study is James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore. Everyone, including drop-ins welcome. Please remember this week’s mission project. For more info talk to Helen Wall
• Ladies Retreat January 27th-29th.
• Men’s Floor Hockey - February 1st @ 8:10 p.m. For more information talk to Brett Reimer.
• Fellowship Meal for Feb. 5th: Everyone bring casseroles and last names beginning with A-L bring 1 doz buns and M-Z brings desserts. Drinks will be provided.

Pastor search update: The elder board would like to present to you Dave Lepp as candidate for senior pastor of Cornerstone. A number of engagements have been set up for you to connect and interact with him.
Jan. 22 – Dave Lepp will teach adult Sunday school
Jan. 23 – Membership Meeting @ 7:30 p.m. The membership meeting is an opportunity for discussion (questions & answers) in regards to pastor candidate Dave Lepp. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Jan. 29 – membership vote after church service
There will be a proxy vote available. "Jim Unrau is receiving all proxy votes for the Jan. 29 vote of senior pastor. All proxy votes must be handed in and signed to Jim Unrau before Jan. 29 church service. Please talk to Jim or Vern if you need a proxy."

Annual meeting – March 8, 2012

•  Elder nominations- Leo Martens and Alvin Falk’s term on the elder board will be expiring this year. Though Alvin and Leo’s terms are up, each is eligible to be nominated. Nomination form are available on the back table and need to be filled out by members at Cornerstone and handed to either Vern Reimer or John Smith by Feb. 5, 2012
• Ministry reports – Ministry leaders please e-mail ministry reports for the annual meeting to Vern Reimer by Jan. 29th vcreim@gmail.com
• 2012 budget – Ministry leaders please send 2012 budget proposals to Jim Unrau by Jan. 22. (today)

Youth Events:

-Youth Night - Tuesday, January 24 @ 7:30 - 10:00 at the Church
-Missions trip meeting – Sunday, February 5th, 2:00 – 4:00 @ the church.
Jr. Youth
-Youth Night - Wednesday, January 25. 7:00-9:00
-Tobogganing Cancelled. Leaving for IMAX and Mini-Golf @ 12:00 at the back of the Church Today. Bring $10 and money for supper and a bag lunch.
