New children’s DVD in the church library (but great for adults too!)  Buck Denver asks… What’s in the Bible? Vol. 5 Israel Gets a King!  

                              Let Veggie Tales creator Phil Vischer and a bunch of hilarious new friends explain the entire Bible to your kids in ground breaking, fast-paced, and fun filled DVD’s!  In vol. 5, the first episode called “The People Want a King!” covers 1 Samuel and the life of Saul as Israel’s first king.  In the second episode “Kings Make Mistakes Too!” 2 Samuel is explained and the first chapters of 1 Kings, including the reigns of King David and his son, King Solomon.  Bonus Short: The Boy who Cried Melon Monkey (a lesson about honesty)
