* TODAY, Sunday, Nov. 1 – Praise & Worship Afternoon: 3:30 – Praise & Worship & learning new songs; 6:00 – Supper; for all involved in the Praise & Worship Ministry of Cornerstone including leaders, team members, musicians, powerpoint and sound guys.
* Ladies’ Bible Study – “A Heart Like His” by Beth Moore - Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. and Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
* Cornerstone Young Couples Bible Study starting November 9 at John & Sheila’s. There is a sign-up sheet at the back or contact them for more information.
* Men’s Bible Study – Monday, Nov. 9th at 7:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room. For more information talk to Jack Dyck.
* Church Cleaning – Volunteers are needed to sign up for church cleaning. Sign-up calendar is on the bulletin board at the back.
* The Rock – Volunteer Meeting for the Rock at 7:00 on Monday, Nov. 9 at the Friendship Center in Pilot Mound.
* Cornerstone’s Christmas Banquet – December 5, 2009. More details to follow.
* Cornerstone’s Missions Weekend - November 6-8, 2009 featuring: Camps supported by Cornerstone
Schedule:
- Friday at 7:30 p.m. – Turtle Mountain Bible Camp
- Saturday at 9:00 a.m.– Christian Enrichment Family Camp
- Saturday at 7:30 p.m.– Winkler Bible Camp
- Sunday 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.– Children’s Camps International
Offerings: A special offering will be taken each session for that particular camp.
Meals: Breakfast on Saturday morning at 9:00. Sign-up sheets to bring food for the breakfast are at the back
- Fellowship Lunch on Sunday, November 8 following the morning worship service. Everyone bring buns and pies for their family. A sign-up sheet for soup is at the back. Group 5 (Dorothy’s group) is in charge.
* YOUTH FOR CHRIST The Rock Dessert Fundraiser: You are invited to a semi-formal evening of fabulous desserts, sharing and a short program on Thursday, November 19th,7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Pilot Mound Kin Center. Please call Ryan Smith (825-7522 or 825-2460), Val Choquette (825-2896) or Arlene Redpath (529-2242) to RSVP. To volunteer to make a dessert for that night give one of these ladies a call. * Outdoor Games Night – Friday, Nov. 6, from 7:00-9:30 p.m., at Brett & Becky’s.
