* Church Cleaning – Volunteers can sign up for church cleaning for the week(s) that suit them starting the week of May 25th. A calendar will be on the bulletin board and you are asked to sign up for 1, 2 or more weeks, whatever works for you. We need 3 couples per week. Note: The Youth will look after the Youth Room.
* Youth Ministry – The Elder Board is open to individuals from within our congregation who feel God has placed an interest in leading Youth Ministry at Cornerstone to talk to Vern Reimer or Pastor Peter. If God has put on your heart to suggest a possible candidate from outside of Cornerstone, we would also like you to share that with us. We would like to hear from you prior to May 31st.
* Baptism – Sunday, May 31. Fellowship Meal following the baptism service. Reminder to the church families: Being a special service we expect we will have guests for the fellowship meal and request that everyone bring salads, sandwiches, desserts and beverages. (Helen Wall’s group is in charge.)
* Baby Shower for Erica and baby Bekka (come-and-go shower) on Sunday, May 24 at 7:00 at on & Dana Gerbrandt’s. Everyone is welcome!
* Daily Bread – The new Daily Bread devotional booklets are available at the back.
* Mark Your Calendars!! Cornerstone’s 10th Anniversary Celebration happening on Sunday, September 6. More details to follow.
* Community DVBS – One or two people are needed to help plan for DVBS. If interested please call Jill Hildebrand @873-2313.
* Cornerstone Church Cleaning for May 11- 23: Phil & Karen Friesen, Fred & Priscilla Hein, and Doug & Nancy Rempel.
Youth Announcements
SR. Youth
* Youth Night – Tuesday, May 19 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the church. Come out for a night of games, fun, worship and fellowship. Anyone in Gr. 9-12 is welcome to come.
* Mission Tuesday – June 9. Will be going to Siloam Mission directly after school to serve a supper, and will be home a little later than usual. Sign up in the youth room.
JR. Youth
* FUEL Night – Wednesday, June 3rd.
