* TONITE – Fundraising Movie and Dessert Night for Mexico Missions Trip to Harvest Field Ministries – at 6:30 p.m. (The fundraiser is for the Harvest Field project i.e. helping put a roof on a church.) We will be showing the movie “Fireproof” followed by dessert. Parents, feel free to bring your children; there will be games and fun times for the kids during the movie. Parents may want to read the Focus on the Family movie review as the movie contains some strong arguments between spouses.
* Annual Meeting 2009 – Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
Re: Elder Board Nomination – Vern Reimer has agreed to let his name stand. According to our constitution he will need an 80% affirmation vote.
* Fellowship Meal – Sunday, March 1 – Grp. 5 (Dorothy’s group) is in charge and they will provide chili and buns; everyone else bring chips, salads, desserts and drinks. Reminder: Teen Challenge is bringing a group of 12-15 so bring food accordingly.
* Sunday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. All those who have been participating in the concentrated prayer effort or are interested in being part of it are invited to an evening of sharing, fellowship, mutual encouragement, and prayer for the purpose of seeking God and His will for us as individuals and for our church. If you have questions contact Jack Dyck.
* Curling Bonspiel – March 7. This is a fundraiser for the Youth Mexico Missions Trip. Sign up as an individual or as a team at the back table.
* The new Daily Bread devotional booklets are available at the back.
* Mexico Missions Trip – Ladies … do you have any card-making supplies you would consider donating for the Harvest Field Mission Trip? If you can help us out, please leave it in the box in the foyer by next Sunday, March 1st. Thank you.
* Bible Studies & Small Groups
- Men’s Bible Study – No Bible Study this Monday, Feb. 23 due to the Annual Meeting.
- Ladies’ Bible Study – Esther – Wednesday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the church. If you miss a session the DVD will be in Helen Wall’s mailbox. If you are taking it out, please return it promptly so it is available for others.
- Young Adults – Thursday, February 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
* Prayer Chain – committing to 2 hours of prayer per day. The prayer calendar is at the back. Sign up for a day that works for you.

SR. Youth
* Youth Night – Tuesday, February 24th – Regular Tuesday Night Bible Study from 7:30 – 10:00 at the church. Anyone in Gr. 9-12 is welcome to come. Invite your friends.
JR. Youth
* Jr. Youth Swimming Day – Going swimming at Steinbach pool on Sunday, March 1st after the fellowship meal at the church. Leaving church at 1:30 p.m. Bring $11 for supper and swimming costs. Parents, pick up your youth at Pilot Mound at 10PM and Cornerstone at 10:15PM.
* FUEL Night – Wednesday, March 4th from 7:00-9:00 at the church. Come for a night of games, snack, and devotion. Open to anyone in gr. 7-8. Invite your friends!
